Though usually I don't do this in my rooting guides, in this one, I am going to directly start with Rooting the Micromax A90 aka Micromax pixel which runs on a 1 GHz single core processor, on Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich. Let's give this Superfone some Superuser permissions!

Here is the rooting guide for Micromax A90:
- Enable USB debugging on your device. To do this, you have to open up Settings, then go to development and finally tap the USB Debugging option.
- Install the Mediatek drivers you downloaded above.
- Initiate the installation of Pdanet. During the process, it will ask you the device manufacturer, select others and the Driver installation for your device will continue. You will have to connect your device during the process using USB cable.(Don't disconnect your device until I ask you to) Once it's installed, proceed to the next step.
- Extract the Root with Restore 7z file using WinZip/7Zip or WinRAR.
- Double click the RunMe.bat file.
- A command prompt with loads of text in Green color will appear on your screen.
- A device typed is asked initially. Press 1 and hit enter.
- When it asks you to look at your device, do so and click Restore on your device. This will reboot the device.
- It will automatically copy some required files to your mobile and the process will complete.
