Shocking: Lenovo acquires Microsoft for $200 billion. Find out why!

In a surprise turn of events, Lenovo acquired Microsoft, the Redmond based software giant for $200 billion in what is being touted by many as the most expensive acquisition in world's history.

In an exclusive talk with Droidiser, Yang Yuanqing, Lenovo's CEO said that after it acquired Motorola from Google, it was now the proud manufacturer behind both Moto X and its very own Lenovo Vibe X. Later, when Nokia launched Nokia X, Lenovo's board of directors decided that it would be pretty auspicious to have three devices with the X moniker under its belt. That's when Lenovo decided to bid for Nokia, but Microsoft was reluctant in selling its just bought Nokia division. So, the Chinese giant decided to take a giant leap of faith and bought Microsoft instead.

Tech pundits are abuzz with what this will mean to Microsoft's future now. Some are saying that Windows' next version might be named Windows X and that the default language for the operating system might be changed to Chinese in order to reflect Lenovo's patriotism. Others called Lenovo cynical for this move and wondered whether Lenovo is considering to acquire HTC (for its One X), Marvel studios (for its X-Men comics and movies) or heck, even the entire porn industry (XXX).

What happens later is yet to be seen, but as of now, the only thing we're sure of is that everything written above is meant as a pre-April Fool joke and as far as we know, such a deal is not happening in the near future. If you've a sharp memory, on the same day last year, Apple had decided to dump its iPhone lineup and come up with some Android devices instead.

Come on, get into the 1st April mood and share this story to wish your friends a foolish April Fool's Day.
