Xolo launches rugged Q700 Club with Quad-core processor for Rs. 6,999

With the flooding of some seriously powerful devices at the 7k marker from foreign device manufacturers like Motorola, Asus and Xiaomi, Indian device manufacturers have been facing a new challenge - offering unbelievable specifications at jaw-dropping prices. Xolo doesn't seem to have packed that much power in their latest launch, the Xolo Q700 Club, but the phone, being water and dust resistant, still has an USP.

The Xolo Q700 Club has been launched for Rs. 6,999, a price segment currently being ruled by the Moto E, Redmi 1S and the Asus Zenfone. Talking about the specifications of the device, the phone has a 4.5 inch FWVGA resolution screen, which is perhaps the most disappointing part of the phone. On the performance front, Xolo Q700 Club is powered by a 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6582M QUad-core processor, which, along with the 1 GB RAM that comes on-board, should be able to deliver decent performance.

Xolo Q700 Club has a 5 MP rear shooter, while a VGA camera is present on the front. Though the numbers might not back the camera, the 5 megapixel camera still records videos in Full HD resolution, though the quality can only be judged once we see the camera/video sample. Talking about the water and dust resistance, the phone has an IP55 dustproof and waterproof rating.

The phone doesn't score any additional points for its design aesthetics. The phone is pretty thick at 10.8 mm, and the dual front speakers saves the day for the design part of the phone. The phone is a dual sim device (duh), with 3G support in the first sim. The 2,000 mAh battery on the phone has almost become a standard for devices with similar specifications these days - so no surprises on the battery front either.

The Xolo Q700 Club is up for sale on Snapdeal and, as mentioned before, is available for Rs. 6,999. If you are looking to forward to buy this device (or almost anything online, for that matter), you will be able to save a few extra rupees by making your purchase through CashKaro.com. If you haven't heard of CashKaro.com yet, it is India's largest cashback and coupons website and provides you cashback for shopping online. I have myself used this website a couple of times, and it works as advertised. For electronics product bought on Snapdeal, CashKaro.com provides an extra 2% cashback (at the time of writing) on top of all applied coupons, reward points etc. So buying Xolo Q700 Club from Snapdeal through CashKaro.com will get you around Rs. 140. That isn't a deal-making discount, but you wouldn't want to spend an extra Rs. 140, would you?
