Elephone S2 and S2 Plus 4G handsets available for pre-order under $150

Elephone is a known name when it comes to Chinese brands, probably not as renowned as Xiaomi or Huawei, but still, it has made a name for itself in the smartphone industry with its value for money products. Elephone has now introduced two new smartphones in its lineup - namely the Elephone S2 and the Elephone S2 Plus. Both these smartphones support 4G networks, and the Plus version is basically a physically larger S2.

Talking about the Elephone S2 first, a 5 inch 720p resolution screen makes up the display of this phone. The phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz MT6735 64-bit quad-core chipset, manufactured by the Taiwanese chipset manufacturer Mediatek. The Elephone S2 packs 2 GB of RAM to support good levels of multitasking and has 16 GB of internal storage, which can be extended by the use of a micro sd card. A 13 MP camera sits at the rear of the phone, while a 2 MP camera satisfies the selfie needs of the average Joe. A major plus point here is that the phone runs on the latest Android 5.1 operating system. Also, the phone looks gorgeous especially from the sides and the back.

The Elephone S2
Coming to its elder brother S2 Plus, the only difference we could manage to find here was the larger screen - the 5.5 inch screen of S2 Plus comes with the same resolution as S2. Other than that, and the obvious increase in the physical dimensions of the device, everything else is the same.

Using the coupon ElephoneS2, you can get the S2 for as low as $130, while the coupon code ES2PLUS will get you the elder brother for $147. For the price they come at, they seem like quite a bargain.
