Doogee Y100 Pro running on Android 5.1 Lollipop goes on pre-sale for $120

Doogee is yet another Chinese smartphone brand that aims to sell its phones by concentrating on the Value for Money factor. Its latest offering Y100 Pro tries to offer as much as one can possibly imagine in a smartphone priced at $120. The highlight of the phone, apart from the technical specifications, is its unibody metal design, which isn't really common at this price point.

Talking about the hardware specifications of the Y100 Pro, the phone sports a 5 inch HD screen i.e. 1280x720 pixels resolution. The screen is 2.5D, which means that it is (very) slightly curved near the edges, making for a seamless experience. Apart from the screen, there is a 8 MP camera on the front, again, something unheard of, even when we are talking about high-end phones (at least in terms of megapixel count).

The phone supports Dual SIM with 4G connectivity, along with other usual connectivity options like Wifi, Bluetooth etc. On the processor end, we have a 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6735 64-bit octa-core chipset, which, coupled with, 2 GB of RAM promises good levels of multitasking and performance.

Besides these hardware specifications, the phone possesses software feeatures, which include smart gestures, wake gestures, power saving mode, HotKnot etc.

All this seems to be a pretty decent deal for $120. If interested, you can pre-order the device for the aforementioned price at Gearbest.
