How to Root Micromax A57 Ninja 3

Micromax A57 aka Micromax Ninja 3, is one of the rarest (maybe THE rarest) phones that pack a 1 GHz horsepower beneath the beautiful package at an astonishingly low price of INR 4,800. Unlike Micromax A52, other specs packed in the Ninja device are also decent which includes an HVGA 3.5" capacitive screen with a 3 MP camera. So, I shall surely prefer this one over the pixelated A52. The value for money factor of this device is so overwhelming, that if I have to write any article regarding budget smartphones, this one will win the "Best Budget Android" award, without any doubt.
UnlockRoot roots the Micromax A57

If you haven't rooted any phone previously, then read this post, specially for newbies who don't know what the hell rooting is? If you have read the post, you should now be aware that the following the below procedure will lead you to voiding your manufacturer's warranty.
Pre-requisites:           MMX A57, USB cable, Internet connection, a laptop/ desktop running on windows OS
Downloads Required:  UnlockRoot, A57 drivers

  1. Enable USB debugging on your device by going to Settings > Applications > Development and tick the box that says "USB Debugging".
  2. Set up the ADB for your device: Set up ADB & Fastboot.
  3. Instead of using pdanet to install drivers for your device, install the official drivers for your device in step 5 of the guide I referred above.
  4. Start UnlockRoot and click the giant Green button yelling "Root".
  5. Reboot your phone in the next option.
Congo, your device is rooted now! As you can see, the main part in this tutorial is setting up your device for ADB and Fastboot. If you find any difficulty in setting up ADB or in following the later steps, comment below, I may be able to help you.
