Micromax Canvas Duet II with support for one GSM SIM and one CDMA SIM has appeared on Flipkart, India's major online retailer, with a price tag of Rs. 15,990. Like most Micromax phones in this price range, this phone was among rumors for quite some time and it was just a matter of time before it showed up officially.
Modelled as Micromax EG111, the USP of the Micromax Canvas Duet II is obviously the support for both GSM and CDMA networks. Apart from that, the phone packs a 5.3 inch 720p HD screen and a Snapdragon processor, which is something unheard of in a Micromax device. The screen size surely reminds us of the original Galaxy Note.
What do you think about this phone? Well, if you need GSM + CDMA support in a single smartphone, you don't have many options. And given that, this phone features decent specs. If it wasn't for the dual network support, we would rather prefer the Moto G and save ourselves a good Rs. 2000.
