Mlais M52 Red Note with 5.5 inch HD screen and 2 GB RAM available for pre-order at $149

While you may not have heard much of Mlais as a brand, you might want to consider their latest offering in the entry level segment: the Mlais Red Note. The Red Note, while seems to be named too close to Xiaomi's Redmi Note, packs a MTK6752 octacore processor, a 13 MP and 8 MP camera combination and 2 GB of RAM.

Mlais M52 Red Note is a dual sim device, and it supports 4G networks. Getting to the hardware and design of the smartphone, the phone weighs 158 grams and is 8.2 mm thick (which is decently thin).

Following are the detailed specifications of the Mlais Red Note:

  • 1.7 GHz MTK6752 Octa-core chipset (64 bit)
  • 5.5 inch HD IPS screen (OGS display)
  • 13 MP rear camera
  • 5 MP front camera (88 degrees wide angle)
  • ARM Mali T-760 GPU
  • Android 4.4 Kitkat (Lollipop update available over OTA)
  • 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory
  • 3200 mAh battery
  • External sd cards up to 64 GB supported
  • Dimensions: 152 x 78 x 8.2 mm, Weight: 158 grams
  • OTG support
The Mlais M52 Red Note is available for pre-order at Gearbest for just $149 (with free worldwide shipping), and given the specifications the phone packs, this sure isn't a bad deal. Gearbest is offering a special coupon - GBM52 - for Droidiser readers, which will reduce the price down to $145. All these specifications at $145 sounds like a good deal to me. What about you?
