Mlais M4 Note with 2 GB RAM and 5.5 inch HD screen for $136

The Mlais M4 Note phablet is now up for pre-order on Gearbest. The 5.5 inch phablet is one of the recent launches by the Chinese brand Mlais. Apart from the name, the design of the M4 Note also seems "inspired" by the Samsung Galaxy Note lineup, with the rectangle-ish home button at the bottom.

While the phone is somewhat on the slim side of what we see from smartphones these days, the M4 Note has a protrusion on the back side in the form of the rear camera. The rear camera is of 13 MP, while a gigantic (in terms of megapixels) 8 MP front camera is also present for the sake of selfies. The phone supports 4G networks, and is powered by a 64 bit quad-core processor from the family of Mediatek - MTK6732, to be precise. Coupled with 2 GB of RAM, this phone shouldn't have any problems in going through the general use we put a smartphone through.

The 5.5 inch screen comes with a HD resolution of 1280x720. 16 GB internal storage is present, and external micro sd card and OTG is supported. On the software front, the phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The battery capacity is 2400 mAh and there is no word on how long it will last with moderate use, though our guess would be one day.

The stainless steel frame of the phone ensures that despite being decently slim at 8.4 mm, the phone still weighs 160 grams. The M4 Note also packs some baked-in screen gestures. Usual sensors like proximity sensor, light sensor, gyroscope, compass et cetera are all present.

If the specifications of the phone seem enticing enough, you can pre-order the M4 Note through Gearbest.com for $160, though using the coupon M4NOTE, the price comes down to $136. Just in case you were wondering, Gearbest offers free international shipping on most of its products.
